Evangelist Rev. Wilson Shafi is the Founder and CEO of Christ Evangelism Ministries International (CEMI). He was born in 1982 into a devoted Christian family in Karachi, Pakistan. His grandfather, a faithful Baptist missionary, laid a strong spiritual foundation that continues to inspire generations.
In the year 2000, Wilson publicly dedicated his life to Christ through water baptism. That same year, he enrolled at Calvary Bible Institute to pursue theological studies and deepen his understanding of God’s Word.
Upon completing his studies, Wilson began his ministry with a vision for church planting and organizing Good News Miracle Festivals across various regions. Through these gatherings, countless people witnessed the transforming power of God—experiencing miracles, healing, and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
For more than two decades, Rev. Wilson has faithfully served in ministry. Responding to God’s call, he founded a global evangelism movement inspired by the scripture:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”— Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
Rev. Wilson Shafi remains deeply passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission—spreading the Gospel to all nations and equipping believers to live by faith and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
In 2008, he married Rita, and in 2009, God led them to the United States of America to continue the mission of reaching souls and strengthening churches throughout North America. Together, they have been blessed with two wonderful children, David and Shiloh.
For over twenty years, Rev. Wilson’s life and ministry have centered on one purpose: to lead people into a living relationship with Christ and empower them to walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

Mrs. Rita Shafi was born in 1984 in Karachi, Pakistan. She is not only a devoted life companion to Rev. Wilson Shafi, Founder and CEO of Christ Evangelism Ministries International (CEMI), but also a faithful co-laborer in the ministry.
Rita serves as the Vice Chairperson of CEMI and leads the Women’s Ministry, where she passionately works to empower women in their faith and spiritual growth.
God has specially gifted Rita with wisdom and compassion for personal spiritual counseling. Through this ministry, she listens to women’s family and spiritual challenges and provides biblical guidance and encouragement based on the Word of God, helping them grow in the power and glory of the Lord.
Through her caring counsel, prayer, and inspirational messages, many women have found healing, restoration, and new life in Christ—accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Rita continues to stand faithfully beside her husband in their shared mission to spread the Gospel, build up the Body of Christ, and bring hope to the nations.
